Case Studies
These case studies were conducted collaboratively with a group, and they include the strategic recommendations we developed based on information we were given in class.
This first case study focused on whether to terminate an agency employee for going "off script" during a client meeting. In this presentation, I worked on the outcome based on our game plan, which taught me the importance of planning for the future after major decisions or mistakes occur in an agency setting.
In this case study, we focused on creating a new interest in the brand Allbirds. My role was to identify what Allbirds should do moving forward, and this taught me how to determine strategic next steps based on brand research.
For this case study, we analyzed why Buick was struggling as a brand and selected one strategic direction from three available options. I completed the analysis of decision part, and I learned how to determine why a strategic direction is correct for a brand using existing research.
For this case study, we evaluated whether Colin Kaepernick was a strong choice for a Nike campaign. I worked on the campaign returns slide, which taught me how to analyze data to assess a campaign’s success.
For this final case study, we had to decide whether to use a third-party agency or build our own as a “corporation.” I completed the strategy, structure, and culture slide, which taught me how to develop a bare bones value proposition using these three components.
