This is a comprehensive step-by-step media plan I completed for e.l.f. cosmetics.
This first part of my plan involved researching and gaining background on e.l.f.’s brand, which taught me how to effectively use advertising databases and select the most pertinent information.
This next part of the plan made me conduct more research, conduct a SWOT analysis, and identify campaign objectives. This part of educated me on writing SMART campaign objectives based on research.
This part of my media plan taught me how to identify and define target audiences, as well as select media effectively. It also taught me how to analyze a brand’s current media strategies for improvement and develop recommendations for better brand performance.
This section of my plan taught me how to analyze the current ad spending of a brand and its competitors, and how to apply different methods (share of voice, cost per click, etc.) to create an effective budget.
This part of my media plan taught me how to select the most effective media types for a campaign and allocate the budget strategically.
This part of my plan taught me how to research and understand programmatic buying and its role in developing a successful media plan.
This is my final media plan for e.l.f., bringing together all the steps, and creating it taught me how to integrate research, strategy, and budgeting into a cohesive plan that effectively reaches target audiences and maximizes brand impact.
