SOW and P&L Work

These two projects are Statement Of Work (SOW) and Profit and Loss (P&L) evaluations I completed with a group for a mock-agency.

This Excel model was originally designed and formatted by our professor. My group’s task was to monitor changes on the first sheet, WYO Wind FY’25 Fee + P&L, that were caused by our inputs while staying within the allotted financial limits. We edited the information on the Agency Staffing and Fee sheet and the Client Service Expense sheet, both of which dynamically updated key financial metrics on the first sheet, including Total WYO Wind SOW, Project Cost, Total Compensation, EBIT, PBT, and more.

For this Statement of Work (SOW) Excel project, I allocated higher EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) and PBT (Profit Before Tax) values, knowing that I would later reduce them through providing incentive compensation for employees. This work taught me the importance of careful budgeting and organization when managing agency funds.

This Excel model was originally designed and formatted by our professor. My group’s task was to monitor changes on the Historical P&L Summaries and P&L Summary sheets that were caused by our inputs while staying within the allotted financial limits. We edited information on the Agency Staffing, severance comp calculator, RWDF Worksheet, and performance evals sheets that dynamically updated key financial metrics on the two sheets mentioned earilier, including Revenue, Total Compensation and Service Costs, Total Overhead Expenses, EBIT, PBT, and more.

In this P&L (profit and loss) Excel project, I was responsible for overseeing the agency staffing and severance decisions. Through this process, I learned the importance of making challenging but necessary choices to maintain the agency’s financial stability.
